I looked through 4 boxes this week - no skunks and 2 good ones.
Last box had a 63 proof.

Box 4 Totals:
52Dx1, 63Dx1, 63 proof x 1, 64x2, 66x3, 67x12, 68x4, 69x4, 2001 proofs x 2.

Box 3 gave me a really nice, heavy plated gold 72. The edges are even all gold!

Incredible!! I have never even seen a BEN!! :( :( I bet that proof is worth more than the silver value. Nice finds!!

When you guys talk about all these "proofs", are you really referring to coins from "mint sets"? It was my understanding that proofs are the ones with the frosted heads, not just shiny coins. I have found one frosted kennedy proof and a mirror like mint coin.

Hey Casull-

Frosty with mirror backgrounds.
The picture is bad that I took. All the Kennedy's with S mintmarks are proofs. That Ben is frosty in normal light and I believe proofs were minted in Philly back then.
