Went to a community sale today and 2 places were selling their parents household items. I saw a box with some old Kodak boxes in it. I took a quick look and saw a few older looking cameras. I was able to get the box for $5.00. I thought for close to $1.00 per camera it was worth a shot.
Kodak Vigilant Six-20 with manual. Looks like it's in great condition.
Kodak Pony 828 with box
Brownie Starflash with Manual
Kodak Standard Flasholder with Box. Still had what I think are the original batteries in it with no corrosion. Too bad modern batteries can't do that.
This box had some of the smaller cameras in it but not the Synchronizer. Any value to an older box?
Polaroid Rainbow White OneStep with some paperwork and Electronic Strobe.
Thunderbird
Minolta Freedom 200 and Kodak Pocket Instamatic 40.
Some miscellaneous items. Interesting film submission bag/card. I haven't figured out what the 2 metal items are for. The Polaroid was in the Kodak Handle bag.
Worth the risk or was the box a pass? I like the look of the Vigilant Six-20. Do you buy older cameras when you see them? All the cameras except the Minolta still have film in them. Not sure why they wouldn't have been developed.
