Bowie Bank Robbery, TX

Woods62010:

That was Mel Fisher's theory - raw emeralds from a Spanish shipwreck were worth several times raw emeralds fresh from the mine.

The problem in the case you describe is that if a person marketed the find(s) as something special - coming from a bank robbery - there would probably be a number of claims on it made by various entities.

See KvonM's classic Encyclopedia of Buried Treasure Hunting - "Tick birds."

Good luck to all,

Ya you'd be stir'n a whole pot of trouble.

Hypothetically... if someone found this "historical" cashe, who would you take it to, to authenticate the find as being from this robbery, if anyone? Would authentication make it more valuable than a presumption?

Thanks!

this is problematic...they enity the loot was stolen from...still owns the property...wells fargo will come after their money...and box it was kept in.
so do other banks, mines, ect.

Shut up! Never say anything……by talking to anybody, you are only going to have problems and trouble…………nohting good will happen from loose lips……..
