Bounty Hunter Tracker IV

Hey guys so i got my bounty hunter a couple days ago and I have yet to figure out how to use it. Everytime i set the settings to whatever the manual or other people have their settings set to, all it does is constantly beep and wont pick up metal or anything, if i lay it down and move metal near it it occasionally beeps but other than that its just random gibberish beeping at the ground everywhere i go. Ive tried in the woods, in the yard, places i was 100% sure there was no metal there, and it still chatters. Im using all the correct techniques and everything!! Any ideas how to make it work or is it just a bad product?

Check your connections and lower the sensitivity way down. Make sure there is no EMI present. If you still cannot get it to hit on coins it sounds like you got a bad unit.
