To me, it seems the BHTRP would be best for those itty bitty gold nuggets since it is the same as a Fisher F19 and Teknetics G2+, but it is not water proof, doesn't have vibration, might not find silver at 19 KHz as well as the Nokta does at 15 KHz. Thoughts?

I was considering the Nokta Legend and Triple Score, but I dislike that maximum 60 target IDs.

Hmm I'll bite.
I don't personally think there is much of a future in the Simplex Ultra. Nokta has seemingly lost all interest in it which means it will probably be discontinued sooner rather than later.
The BH Time Ranger Pro is an old design although it does have many fans. Theoretically, 19khz is of course going to better on gold nuggets. The 15khz of the Simplex as you stated probably will not hit as hard on the smaller gold. BUT, that 15khz is a middle ground frequency that gets decent results all the way around.
I respect your dislike of the 60 target ID limitation on the Legend and Triple Score. However, The Legend is leaps and bounds better than the BHTRP and has it's own dedicated gold mode along with a higher frequency. Couple that with a small coil and it would be a killer. Yes, that pesky 60 target ID will be in play but you're getting vastly improved performance over the BH and Nokta Simplex Ultra. Some claim the Triple Score is every bit as good as the Legend or better. I can't speak to that but do have a Legend and a Double Score. The Double Score just works. It doesn't have the fine tweaking ability the Legend does but it's a good detector in its own right.

There is also the Minelab Xterra Elite. I don't own that but do have an XTerra Pro. Terribly chatty, dig it all type detector. Hasn't been used but twice with less than 2 hrs total use. It just sits. The ID is too erratic to trust. But that thing will find metal if you want to dig it all and play the lottery.

I bought, but have not used, both the Nokta Simplex Ultra and Bounty Hunter Time Ranger Pro.

Being stuck in the house while Illinois is a cold, windy mudball this time of year, I have been watching A LOT of YouTube videos on the Nokta Simplex Ultra and the Goldbug/F19/G2+/Time Ranger Pro. People are finding silver coins just fine with the F19 so I think I will return the NSU and master the BHTRP. Maybe I'll order one of the small sniper coils for it.

Here are some videos that helped me decide:

I realize there is no perfect metal detector. We are all different. For me and for now, I think I will be happy with the Bounty Hunter Time Ranger Pro.
