The owners manual should tell you how to set it up. It does for my QuickDrawII. Try Bounty Hunter's web site. There is a lot of information there. Warrior

You can't set it to only find gold. But you can set it to give yourself a better chance, Try setting it just a little bit higher than the pulltab or nickel setting.

Like any other machine, you HAVE to try different things. Set up a test garden if you haven't already. Any questions email me Thanks, HH Art...

I have the Land Ranger and the screen and icons are almost identical to yours.? Gold will show up on the left hand of the mid point on your LCD readout.? So, if you don't want to be bothered by coins or silver, notch out everything on the right hand side of your LCD readout. If you do not know how to? notch out various icons, you manual can explain it a lot better than I can.? If you don't have a manual, BH will send you one if you email them. Unfortunately no detector can be set to just pick up gold.? A detector don't know gold from a pull tab, it just measures the amount of resistance to the signal put out by the coil.? Gold has a different amount of resistance than say, a clad coin.? But.....always a but,? gold has the resistance similar to or about the same as a nickel or pull tab, or sometimes foil and the only way you can find out if it's gold or not it to dig it!? Monty
