After yesterday's dismal lone 67 half & 7 silver Rosie's, today was one of those exciting days in CRH'ing for me.
The halves produced well. I found alot of halves that seemed to have been in a fire.....I am not thinking any further than that.....
As has been my routine lately, I cashed in right at closing time and could only get one box of dimes. Boy, was it a great one!! My previous best on dimes was 26 silver Rosie's not too long ago which I didn't think I would ever reach again, but I was wrong.
Today's box produced 39!! Yes, 39 silver dimes which includes 5 Mercs. I got three rolls with 3 each in them. That was so exciting going through that box. I had a ball. Someone must have cashed in Dad's/Mom's or Grandpa's/Grandma's jar of coins.
This is the same bank that has a free coin counter for anyone...you don't need an account to use this coin counter. This way they do not have to buy coins from the Fed. They claim it saves them bigtime money in the long run. That is why I get these boxes of dimes from them. This is also the same place I dump the reject halves although I do not get any halves from this bank because I will eventually get them in boxes anyway. My halves are the only coins that they send to the Fed because of the volume I dump....they have no place to keep so many.......that's a little inside scoop from my buddy at that bank......
Anyway, it was a very fun day......the totals......
