Hi all ..

Yesterday i bought an old book and was surprised to find this.. first off i know NOTHING about shares.. so all the information you guys can give me will help.. it was last signed over i 1987 (I think) but other than that i know nothing about it.

By The Way the book was an old copy of Moby Dick should anyone be interested, the book was a gift for a friend so i don't have it any more,

Signed over in 1987, that may still have value. Not likely, but you never know. If you call the reference desk at a larger metropolitan public library they have the books available to look that up for you.

well that 1000 shares at 5 cents per share ($50 ) makes the person listed on it a part "owner" of a gold mine -- guess as a part owner they could go pan part of their gold mine --in oregan .--the mine looks to be "inactive" at this time

So How does it work .. i have the Paper now that says 1000 shares and i now can Freely go and claim my share of that mine ??

As a stated in the beginning of this thread i know NOTHING about shares.

and if i can Where the heck is it lol .. cant find it on a map.

so does anyone know the rules .. do i have rights to go hunt for gold at that claim or do i have no rights ??

Now i am curious.

unless its signed over to you the "last owner" it was signed to has the rights --- cntact em -- they will most like let you have it --it was most like a sort of "gag" gift -- ala --you are now a "part owner" of a played out gold mine* --but as a weekend warrior type that could be very useful.(a old gold mine to work at legally--- as a part owner you should have the right to inspect what you "own" )
