An older bottling machine used by Coca Cola. Took this picture at Biedenharn Museum in Monroe, La. Also an early Model T delivery truck.

They're both Sweet specially the truck!!

Would love to see that bottling machine in action....

I'm going back to the museum late next week. There is another machine that i want to get some pictures of. It is very small and 1 man could bottle approximately 50-75 drinks per hour if he were experienced enough. I have a few pictures of early vicksburg, ms and monroe, la coca cola bottles that i also took yesterday. They didn't turn out so well. Here is one of the better ones

This is a larger bottle and i'm not sure how many ounces. There were some biedenharn straight-side cokes and hutches from both cities

I WANT THE TRUCK !!!!! it would be perfect for haulin home all the finds after a day of huntin !!!! 8-)

PPC, i don!t know if that truck could haul all your finds back up the mountain. Lol

here is my bottling machine...I have two or three of them....used to make a lot of beer in grandpa's #12 salt glazed crock. these days it is all root beer.

I'll bet its some tasty root beer too! Would like to sample some of it as well. Never had any homemade rootbeer. In these parts all homemade beverages have one consistent ingredient- alcoholic.

it is simple a pie to make...flavor, sugar, yeast, water...a little know how and a bottle capper is handy too.
