After my Ace350 fell in a stream in October I didn't know what I was going to do all winter, so I ordered the 800 and while I waited I went bottle hunting. I hit alot of old farm sites that are now developments here in NJ. Most of the farms have a waterway through them which is where the farmer would dump and where the developer would later bulldoze everything. Found alot of milk bottles, magnesia bottles, mason jars. Some are late 1800's but most are early to mid 1900's. Amazed me that everywhere I went I could find the dump. Not something I ever knew about until I started in November.
The Nox800 came last week and I knocked on the door of Christ Episcopal Church (1702) because a road crew was tearing up the church yard and street in front. Reverend Thomas said "have at it". I didn't have alot of time but am happy with my finds.
If anyone knows the meaning of the pendant letters let me know. I also need help with the little rectangular copper with the carriage imprint. I have them posted on WHAT IS IT. Also found a very toasted IH. Thanks for looking. GM
