Bottle I.D. age?

My "FRIEND" found this bottle in area where cannon was found but not directly on same site. Any idea of age, what it stored, country of origin, value?
Approximately 17" tall, 15" wide and 10" front to back. Thank you for any insight.

Looks like an early 19th century demijohn, used for storing chemicals, etc. Nice find.

I think Smokeythecat nailed it… i would agree with it being a 19th century demijohn… I have quite an extensive bottle collection and have had similar finds like yours… I’m not an expert but have had 24 years of research, collecting and I’d’ing artifacts and bottles ranging from the 16th -early 20th centuries.

Just my two Reales worth… 😉😂
