all,

well little background to the story here, co worker and relatives all have homes built on old farm land, at this point not sure how old, haven't found much other than can slaw, a toy i found on ebay vintage armored car for 24.00 dollars, this land is humongous!!! But anyways the co workers wife told me about her tree guy finding an old pepsi bottle where he was cutting down a few limbs, jerry( co worker) too me to the spot, i can look in the woods and see tons of trash bottles, etc , found some older cans, and bottles, nothing to old, then i came across the bottle at the bottom here it says st. pierre sminoff fls(?), has a crown with 4 1800's dates in it, and on the back it says 1818, all of this is embossed on the bottle. on the bottom says liquor bottle and a few numbers. tried to doing searches but nothing came up to this particular size,etc..any help would be appreciated...

also found out there is a shack in the woods by there , supposedly was used by workers on farm, gonna try to md that next trip, started to rain so had to cut this trip short :-(

heard about some old dolls are something in the shack/shed?? hmmm the property is getting weirder by the minute..lol...

thanks again...gregg

i have never seen a modern smirnoff with st. pierres on it, let alone it being embossed, they all have lables, and i have found links to other st. pierres bottles but noe this size all were smaller...and alot of the other bottles and cans and various other items in this dump site on farm weren't newer either, but thanks

Ill research it more later when I have more time. When I say modern, I mean the past 40-50 years. It has screw top so must be post 1900. Does it say Federal Law on it? ...that would be prohibition. I believe I hav seen this "fifth" (4/5 quart) bottlle in the past 20 years but I have quit drinking now. :D Where is Plehbah when we need him?

Looking at the cap, and no Federal Law markings, I would say post depression era modern. Notice yours has a more modern style cap than the one I posted.

Tf, yeah we plan too, had to leave as rain was starting, and now found out about cabin or shed with old dolls in it..so we plan on getting out there real soon, this all old farm land, and friends family owns about 20 acres of it , lot of it wooded, and unpassable to got to get out the hiking gear to tread through there again real soon..lots of old barbed wire down from old cattle lines, going to try to find some old maps from that time and see if i can over lay them , this place is way too big for just me..lol..gregg
