🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Botryoidal Agate?

Another rock someone gave my wife sometime ago when in China, my scientific scale won’t weigh it so it’s well over 2 kilos taking a rough guess I’d say about 4 kilos.

Interesting specimen. It appears to have some very thin banding around the open edge; 1st photo.
The translucency does look like chalcedony. Regardless, I find it a very nice item.👍🏼

That is not agate (which is banded) it is Chalcedony.

These are better pictures with my phone instead of the iPad, I didn’t think to take the pictures with the banding in mind but I don’t know how much banding there should be to identify Agate?
