I was checking the "Cache hunting" section, and ran across this amazing 6-page thread. True or not?

Anyways, a borescope was mentioned as a way to look inside of walls and hidden areas. This sounds like a very useful piece of equipment to me since I just stuck my head down in the floorboards with some dried up opossums the other day.
A few questions:
1) Do any of you use a borescope in treasure hunting, or in your jobs?
2) Would you recommend one as a good way to cache hunt inside of hidden spaces?
3) Do they light up behind the wall enough to make out what is back there?
4) Any recommendations on a certain brand at a decent price (say under $400)?
Hunting inside of old houses just amazes me, and any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
MM

Hello there..
I thought Id give my .02 cents here.If you go to one of the auto parts store or your local sears you can buy a borescope.Go to the tool section and look in the auto tools section. They carry them.A good one for what your are going to use it for is about 250 or less.
Thought this might help...

Harbor Freight Tools sells an underwater TV camera with monitor (runs on batteries) with a 60 foot cable for $99.99 The camera works in 0 lux conditions (night vision). I'm sure it's the cheapest thing in the world but if it saved getting bit in the face by a snake, spider, bat (rabies), or any other critter, it would be worth it. Camera is about 2 x 4 x 7 inches. I'm sure there are others much smaller size.

Mike,
I'll check it out.
Thank you.
