I see that the Tnet took the poor service minelab has been giveing most every one off the Minelab forum here........... Do you think that Minelab or a minelab dealer complained about the truth being put down in words here???????????????????????

There are two ways for a thread to be pulled. One is by a mod/admin and the other is by the original poster. Be sure of which you speak before doing so.

Was Not removed by Me Either.

I Received no Complaints.

Not sure where that thread is, but I will say this, once all is taken care of, which ML is trying again to make things right, I will praise ML to the hilt..

That's a nice thing to say BB, I know how hard they have been trying to do right by you. Good luck on the two new one's they sent you.

Sorry tnet and i apologize to, Digginthepast and Jeff of pa , It was the dealer Woodland detectors 4H that started the post and then .After he saw what it turned in to he deleted it ....

I know that the upper folks at ML are trying..but the worst part is this, they are not the ones working in the factory putting them together.. yes, we get frustrated, but Gary and others at ML are still trying to right things.. I know we all needed to vent and no one wants to wait long for repairs but till its all taken care of, within the entire company then all will be ok.. the transition they had most likely was not a easy one.. and yes, tempers have flared, cant blame folks for that at times..but like I said.. they are truly trying.. if you dont contact ML about your own problem, how are they to know you have one to begin with? And to be honest even with the problems on my machines, I still hope it all works out, cause once you get a good working xcal theres no stopping ya.. so thats it for now. will let ya all know how my end turns out.

Yes you will untill the next time..... With me if a car repair shop repairs my car 3 times and it still don't work I find a new repair shop or different model car.......... But no one can repair Minelab but Minelab . :nono: :nono: :nono: :protest: :protest:

Sometimes a manufacturer gets poor quality components and some customers can't properly describe what their detector is doing. They sometimes leave the factory in working condition but UPS tosses the boxes around and the big mail order places don't test any detectors before they sell them. That is why I always advise hunters to try to buy from local dealers and ask them to assemble it and test it. You can carry it out in your hot lil hands where it will be safe.

I think the trouble with the Excal II's is the new coil. You hardly hear of any troubles with the Excal 1000 which the Sov GT uses the same coil.

The problem with Minelab isn't having detector troubles. Even though WE read about them, because we are avid users, it's still a far minority of units acting up. The Minelab problem has been (and seems to still be) with the repairs. It shouldn't take months to repair a unit. When a unit leaves the repair facility it should be given a complete testing to ANY problems. People shouldnt get a machine back with the exact same problems they sent it in for.

You may feel that way, but I don't feel like I been stepped on, Just something keeps telling me, hang in there, it will all work out.. I know how to use the xcal, do I want to take the time to learn another water machine a different brand, nope, dont have time to do that.. I still believe everything will work out in the end..I guess I just have more patience then others.. but I do have flare up of temper too.. that I will admit..but when I am wrong I will admit I am wrong..and a apology will follow as well.

Myself, I also have no intentions of leaving Minelab detectors behind at all. I still own 4 of them and would not hesitate to pick up another if another one came along for the right price.... In 4.5 years since I started I have spent less then $150 on repairs on the 5 I have own, including the 4 I still own. Three of them have been customized as well.....

I disagree with you, I dont feel I am being walked on.. I just have more patience then obviously you do. Seems like your looking for a good argument and I am not gonna sink to your level and argue over this.

Good Response :headbang:

Complaints, Just for the purpose of causing
Attacks are the reason threads do get deleted at times.

There is a reason we are Minelab owners.

Right ON, Booty Bay. I know the problems you have been having and I know that ML has been working with you very hard to fix the problems. Hold your ground. The fix is in and you'll be happy!

Count me in the ML group too. Boxes of silver and gold. Payed for the machines i have now. Although i did flip a coin on a water detector. What ever came to me used, clean and within reason $. Snagged a CZ-21 and couldn't be happier. That 21 owes thanks to the ML. :laughing7:
