First try at CRH today...started light with just 10 rolls of quarters and 20 of dimes. Nothing on the quarters and the last roll of dimes was a tease.

And what was it sandwiched between?

I have gone through THOUSANDS in quarters and still havent found one...I usually get 1-2 dimes for every $100 I search. Stick to dimes for a while. They are my "bread and butter" so to speak...unless your in the South East, then dont do dimes...THEY ARE ALL MINE, LOL

Nope those Canadians get me as well- hate em I tell ya :-)

Ha, thanks guys. I'll try dimes again later this week. gmrestoparts, I'm in the northeast, so your dimes are safe :)

I find a lot of those canadians and those damn 5 pence coins

If you know what the reeding looks like on a Rosie then it is easier to detect a canuck dime.

+1. And also, Canadian will generally be much shinier, unless you come along an uncirculated silver or a silver proof.

I get Canadians in almost every roll, I've seen thousands of those buggers. Watch for the silvers, when you get good you can tell the silver Canadians by edge searching alone.

Gotta up the ante if you want to find some keepers!
