A lot of different boarder lines prior to the publication of that book.

Thats a nice book.
I can't make out the signature. Do you know who it is?

Unfortunately no, but I haven't really researched it either.

Any pictures of the designs they used with meanings of them? Next show I’m selling most of mine except for a couple.
Good score

Interesting book. It’s Volume III of Schoolcraft’s work, published in 6 parts.

Vols. 1-5 have half-title: Ethnological researches respecting the red man of America
Vols. 2-5 have title: Information respecting the history, condition, and prospects of the Indian tribes of the United States.
Vol. 6 has title: History of the Indian tribes of the United States: their present condition and prospects and a sketch of their ancient status.

Since the copyright has expired, you can download all six volumes as pdf files from the Internet Archive for free. Below are the direct (clean) links to the documents in the archive (no registration, account or payment needed). Note that they’re large files, so download may take a while on some devices. For those suspicious of hotlinks, or who don’t know what the ‘Internet Archive’ is, it’s explained in this Wiki entry:
