I have the last book printed by Larry Sallee, at least I think its his last book. The Complete Unabridged ZIP ZIP. It is out of print and fairly rare. I want to make sure it goes to a detectorist so figure to sell it here. For sale or Trade. It is in good condition, no damage other than some rubbed part on one corner where it was pushed up against the side of the box of books that it was packed in.
I got this book the month it came out back in 2004. Not long afterwards it went out of print. It is considered one of the best go to books for detecting gold with UHF detectors. And it is rare that I have seen one for sale the last few years. I have seen them priced on Amazon as high as 2999.00. That is overpriced. Mostly I have seen prices on it for around 250.00.
All I am asking is a fair offer or a trade for detecting gear or equipment. Since 250 is a lot of money for a book, that is why I am willing to do trades or cash and trade. Just make me an offer.
I am selling this because I am reaching the point where I can do only a little detecting and definitely no detecting for gold other than on the beaches here in Florida. I lost over half of the use of my heart due to heart attacks a couple years ago and went through multiple surgeries. I am now on the good side of it, but just not able to get out and do much. So I am selling most of my detectors, books, other stuff. I plan to keep one detector and maybe a spare. Down to one right now so a spare would be nice. So if you have a detector you want to trade for this book, make an offer.
Anyway, good luck. I haven't put a photo of the book up, but if folks think it is needed, I will add one later here.
