Great scene versus having a fire on California beaches under these rules:
"Fires are permitted in appropriate pits only. No fires are allowed in the sand. Gas, propane or electric grills allowed on the sand but must be 18” off the ground. Charcoal can only be used in a concrete fire ring or on grills placed in a concrete fire ring."
Certainly not conducive to having fun.

I see all this as a function of continued population increase... back in my day.... etc.... Alaska is where I am spending my next life.

We have a simple rule around here, no fires in driftwood piles.

We usually go to our "locals only" beaches but that's a spend the night situation.
