bone knife with copper blade

I have never found a complete knife
this is a first for me to find one with a blade of any kind
I am pretty excited
it became exposed from all the snow melt and run off

Banner! Ok, I know I'm always the first to hollar that here. Or it seems like it to me. But REALLY. This is another fine example of an historic treasure! You are da man lars! I can only hope to find such a thing. You're preserving history and saving it from the plow, so I say Banner!

BTW, the copper blade has such a sharp edge on it that I can cut a tomato easily with it
I can't figure out how it could stay so sharp for so long

That find must be pretty darn close to unique. 1st time I have seen anything like it. To when would it date?

This is one of the coolest items for banner that I've seen in a long time.

I usually don't say this, but have you thought about donating or loaning it to your local museum (of course one of those donations that names you with the option to get it back) ? They would have a way to preserve it. Bone usually becomes brittle after being exposed to air again. It's just it's a find of a lifetime and I would say probably very unique.
