Bone Artifact?

I have found many bone artifacts at my site. Posted this one on another site. Maybe the pics were bad. The bone is broken on one side and the butt end was gone when I found it. Not a lot of polish on this one but hopefully you will see use wear in the new pics. Six by two for size. Thanks for viewing!

You have found some good bone before in your hunts. The bone here was mostly crushed and cooked for the marrow. Be safe out there and happy digging!

Broken, sure, but I see the work. It's got a bevel on one end, the last pic. And on the other side of that beveled portion is worn smooth/polished. A small flesher?? The one intact side has been abraded smooth, the other side didn't fair that well over the years, LOL. Nice find and eye there!

Thanks for the info guys. I thought it might be a specific tool like this awl. The weather has been nasty the past week and I am getting a little edgy. As the area I am digging is full of bone. Stay warm.
