Found just before the snow hit. Field next to colonial home in the same hole. Ox shoe and bone button. :thumbsup:

At least that's what I was told by property owner. Very worn been in the ground for at least 200 years. Larger on top and hand forged

Yes. Mid 1700. You can tell it's hand made. Grain runs in 1 Direction. Carving is uneven. The house on the property was occupied by the land owner until the floor collapsed. Now they live in a modular home next to the house. He's a farmer and has plowed up artifacts. I feel very greatfull that he lets me detect.
