Bobbie had a great day today finding a 16 gram 14k religious pendant, and a 6.7 gram 10 k bracelet. I found something today I didnt really expect to see in a totlot: it is a 1 ounce .999 silver bullion coin. I will post our finds from last 2 weekends tomorrow as we have been having some problems gettiing picts loaded but hopefully have gotten a way around it

Its been a weird year thus far for me a good year but finds that I dont expect, back in March I found a Proof Canadian dollar that commemorated 100 anniversary of British Columbia that was 50% silver 50% copper out of a school totlot down south of here when I was attending a conference. I just know I love show and tell at the schools

The coin is a NORFED dollar (real silver money). The mint was in Evansville, Indiana until it was raided, it’s metals confiscated by the FBI. The NORFED dollar was intended to be circulated in trade/barter circumstances rather than Federal Reserve Notes. However it seems the fed doesn’t want competition... they’re doing such a good job at it, can’t you tell? :-) I have a few but not circulated.
