Good morning everyone!

Havent had a lot to say lately, just working and trying to sneak out once in a while to play in the dirt. Went to an old homestead yesterday where they just recently tore down the house. Nothing much but did find an old 38 Snub nose cap gun from the 60's and this tiny litte bluebird pin. It had the pin attached but it broke right off in my hand. No hallmarks that I can see. Just a nice little find.

Good luck today hunting!

Hi Bev! Long time no see....very nice enameled bluebird pin. I like the colors. I found a nice enameled pin a couple years ago depicting three Dutch boys...looks quite old and very colorful. Still trying to date it. Maybe I'll post it on "What Is It?" if I can find it again.

Nice digs. Glad you got out. :icon_thumleft:

Thanks guys! It's nice to find something interesting once in a while!

Here are the 3 guns I've found so far, two were just last week and the derringer was a few months back.

Wow!!! The pin is a sweet find but I'm drooling over the three guns. They are in exceptional condition for being buried. Brings back childhood memories.

Thanks Coinhound, that's nice of you to say! I forgot about my wooden Parris Pistol too but Tnet isnt letting me insert and image right now.

Bluebird pin is awesome. I guess I'm surprised it does not have a .925 or any kind of hallmark. Still cool just the same. Keep diggin'

If it does, it's just too toasty to see! I dont want to do too much to it because I dont want the enamel/paint to keep flicking off.
