Any ideas on this thing I know the last pic is crud, but it is only for scale, shown with quarter My guess would be that it is gasoline related Rusted ring on the back, but the rest is probably brass or copper

Looks like a cap to a tricycle back wheel. The iron ring folds in between spokes.

The five cornered star is often used in reference to Texas military or history. Not sure at all if this is related, just a guess? Monty

Hub cap center off of the Titanic. It was part of the
White Star Line. Jimbob

its a nautical star but that has been used in pop culture more now than maritime (widely used now in tattoos/pop art)
