Ya'll know the new Bass Pro shop off of 291 that used to be a 80 acre farm when i was a kid,, but a good spot might be the the Blue Springs lake near the op deck , it is know to have arrow heads found during the construction of the lake

My Grandson is 10, and wants to go hunting for something, lol from gems to coins to arrowheads. I want to help him to be able to find one of those. Live in Independence. I don't have a metal detector, but looking to buy a really good used one. Can anyone help me with these questions?
