Along the blue ridge parkway in which state? In Virginia there were a few prospects and a mine near the parkway between Lynchburg and Charlottesville and in Floyd county south of Roanoke. Other then that area the blue ridge is generally to far removed from the gold pyrite belt.

I have in nc. Found 1 flake and a few garnets. So yes. Not sure how much is there, but its there.

You might have better luck in uwharrie or hiddenite.

I was working in Asheville and saw quite a few areas along the parkway that looked promising but I didn't get a chance to check them out. Couldn't get the boss to stop crackin the whip!!!!

Try on Mount Mitchell. Panned there 2 years ago and found small flakes. Also was told gold was found near Linnville Falls.

Found a few small flakes in a black mineral vein on friends property near Grandfather Mtn. this fall.

Near grandfather mountain was where i found some small stuff.
