Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
I took the male half of the Okie Hillbillie's team to an
old house in my area, Scotto & his wife had done some
hunting there the week before but the weather was too hot.
He, (Okie) found seven coins, six pennys, (two were
1940's), & 1 rosie dime.
I found the usual assortment of junk, (I mean relics). >:(
The house next door, (the man was murdered), & his
money is supposed to be buried in a metal box, we hope to
get permission to hunt that.

(pics are old blue house, Okie, coins, junk.)

Thanks Piggman, I may have to mow the yard to get
permission, but I don't mind, the owner is in a wheelchair,
young man paralized in a logging accident.

Thanks for taking me with you today and for posting the finds.
I had a real good time and enjoyed it a lot.

Having hunting buddies is awesome...

fossis - I like the way you turned junk into relics... :D

I do that too...

My poor 'old detector' won't find the coins as well,
so I am mostly a 'RELIC' DIGGER.
when my ship comes in, I hope to get an Ace 250,
but it does pretty well for a $15.00 yard sale find. :-\

Great post Fossis :) I like the looks of that old blue house :)

Thanks Carolina, The real 'Forest Gump' lives here,

Everyone is always bringing him veggies, & things.
I asked him how old he was, & he didn't know, he & his
brother bought a red rag top a few years ago, & I asked him
what happened to the car, he said, " we rolled it seven times,
we were drinking home brew".
Sad, but he seems very happy, but loves company.
