I guess I've always been kind of interested in old bottles and insulators, but since coming to this forum and following up other links, I never quite saw how so many others were interested and how in depth things could get. I'm starting to think of where I could go and hunt after the snow melts. My job took me all over the place and I found several sites that I wasn't able to search, but maybe now I will go back and dig around some more.
The bottle shown is unmarked except for a very faint 13 on the bottom. It is 9" high and was found several years ago atop an old stone fence of all places. How it survived undamaged and unbroken all those years with a neighborhood of kids not very far away amazes me. Could anyone tell me anything more about it?
thanks,
Jim
