Bloody Creek, Nova Scotia - Need Help ID'g These Metal Objects
This is my first post and my first finds while detecting at Bloody Creek in Nova Scotia where a battle was fought between the British and the Acadians and Indians in 1757. The largest item was found about 5” deep underneath a large tree root. Judging from the jagged edges, it would appear that it was broken under a lot of force. The second and third objects were found together about 6” deep in the creek bed. These were found about 20 metres from the first find. The second item appears to have been chiseled out and there is part of a hole on one edge. The smallest item is a flimsy metal like tin, and there is an indentation on it made by a pointed object. For all I know, it’s all junk, but I’m really curious. Thanks to all those who try to help identify what they could have been. I have included 3 pictures, and then added 3 more in the next post.
