With this last little cold front that just came through, the last two big ash trees of mine shed the last of their leaves today. I had a large pile of leaves that I let the granddaughters play in. My neighbor used to rake all his leaves into one giant pile and hide candy and goodies in the pile. Then he would invite the local kids on the block to a free-for-all. It was fun to watch those kids as they dove into those leaves looking for the candy.

Heh heh as kids in mid-late 60s we raked them higher..than we were tall...then have wrestling matches in them
