Went back to my new favorite park. Found a eagle on and anchor bottom, ten wheats and a black 1941 walking liberty half. Got a 1902H Canadian silver two days ago. I've only been there once that I didn't find silver. Can only go now in the early morning as we are in the middle of a heat wave.

I've found many walkers and have one that is black like that. I have cleaned up others, but not the black one. It looks cool the way it is.
Nice spot you have and thanks for sharing the nice keepers.

Great finds !

If you want to clean the Walking Half try taking it to a local Coin Dealer.
They can dip it in a coin cleaning solvent.
Also, it's up to you but I've also cleaned coins like yours in a homemade "Electrolysis Bath".

Howdy!

Thank you for sharing your nice finds.

Would you be willing to tell us where in the park you've had the most success? Picnic tables? Swings and slides? Baseball diamond stands?

I wouldn't ask you to share secrets - just some general information that will help others.

Thank you!

Good luck to all,

The Old Bookaroo
