Thanks for sharing, Never heard of pull out's but now I know -goldnugget-- I say walk down to that lower 100 feet area if it's not restricted. That's my type of Beach Detecting area-

Nice finds...great Pic's

another great silver day again!, all these common public areas for you to hunt!, the possibilities are endless
congrats!!!

I've hunted the sandy beach below many times and never found much. Our beaches up here in northern Calif are almost deserted, a large beach will have only 10 people on them most of the year. Southern California beaches are just the opposite, you'll have thousands of people on them. I've always found more interesting things on top of the cliffs up here in the north.

"Endless", You got that right! Our coastline is 800 miles long, from Crescent City in the north all the way down to San Diego in the south. Time for a road trip!

Congrats. You know people have enjoyed the view for a long long time there. Not just from a 4 wheeled Mustang, but a 4 hoofed one also, I am sure!

What a great view to metal detect. Great saves again.

I really liked the site pics. esp. the first one, and the last one.
Reminds me of a trip I took a couple of years ago to cape split NS.

Those silver will clean right up should you wish.

Nice finds. Likely a roadside picnic area for many years

Yep, those "stopping places" can be quite productive! The older, the better!

Congrats on the silver!

Congrats on silver score. High marks for thinking outside the box!

Congratulations. A great and smart hunt with provisions for a quick getaway if needed!

When I lived in Monterey I would hunt the sides of the rocks exposed at low tide with my Infinium. The surf would throw the coins onto the rocks and they would drop into cracks on the landward side as they slid down the back. It was amazing how many brand new coins would be sitting there waiting to be pulled out with a pair of needle nose pliers.
