Black powder flask?

My buddy's mom found this today what we think is a powder flask? Any help would be great about the age of it thanks for looking!

Yes it is. We need to see the top end of it. It does appear to be missing though. The end missing would have the makers nameplate stamped in the band that wraps around the top.

With that hunting motif, it could be a shot pouch for a shot gun too.
