I got out for two hours today after work to my usual camp site field. It was snow covered yesterday but we got about 6 inches of rain in the past 24 hours so it is now wide open. This is the first time I have hunted in the rain and what a difference it makes. The flakes and debitage were visible everywhere. The finds are nothing to get too excited aboutbut I was very pleased. I especially like the large red preform. You can see where the corner was notched on the right hand side but was discarded prior to finishing. At least that is how it looks to me. I also like the stemmed pieces but as usual the tips are broken off. I think the large white point would have been a real beauty. Finely knapped and a beautiful white quartz. One of these days I am going to find a killer on this field. Thanks for looking.
