Yesterday i met a landowner who found a gold coin on one of his fields and i did 2 hours in that area hoping to find more with no success. His little niece came to have a look and i gave her the only two coins that showed up. She was pretty happy about about one 1800s prussian 2Pfennig and a 1920 aluminum 50Pfennig. No gold coins but access to many more fields in an interesting area.
Pic 1 shows the finds from sunday, most are from another field i did later. That field had a roman villa but is detectet several times now, the only spot left was one trashy corner where the farmer burned his waste. A couple prussian coins and 1/2 Cent, nothing roman.
Second pic are two Lefauchex cartridges, my firsts other than the more common shotgun rounds.
Third pic is from today, a field with an old pilgrims path on it. Again not much exept for the coin weight and a cool lead seal. Conditions are far from perfect. Dry soil and grubbed...signals came somewhat iffy even with aluminum parts. We need some rain and harvest on the better fields! :tongue3:
