garret ace250 explorer ll excal 1000 whites BHID
Got out & hit one of my faverate spots with my explorer ll & 15 inch wot coil. i started off by getting the usual bits of copper & brass then about 15 minits into the hunt i get a sweet signal with the cu serer sitting on the top right of the screen so i dig a nice wide plug then flip it over & sitting in the bottom of the hole is a 1936 sixpence "yes" first silver of the day.
For the next 1.5 hours all i found were two Penny's 1951-55 & a 1961 half penny then i get a deep bouncing signal with a few high tones so i dig a deep plug pop it over & the signal gets better so i dig down some more then more then out of the hole comes a awesome silver florin from 1943 :headbang: what a way to end the day so off home i go to admire my finds & add them to the collection.
hope ya enjoyed the story i know i enjoyed living it :laughing7:

Nice ones - Aussie pre-decimals sites are great to find - the slower you go the better :icon_thumleft:
