1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Chapo! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

2nd - If no one can identify your find - you might consider posting your pictures on GEOLOGICAL > ROCKS/GEMS for additional exposure.

Sorry, nothing in picture posted says artifact..

Welcome to TreasureNet!

Now, let's look at the other side. If it's exactly the same with the "eye" and tail, I might revise my opinion that, as already mentioned, it's just a rock.

That "star" is probably some kind of a sea-life or plant fossil and it appears to be a naturally formed rock, perhaps eroded by water or as glacial till.

If its made in France Iv bin told they last longer then the ones made in USA...
and cool rock....

birdstone nonsense is all over ebay...i guess if folk talk about it enough it become real....like bigfoot and loch ness....

Mother nature carves some cool rocks
