I thought I would show some pictures I took a couple years ago of artifacts from the Scattered Village site, which was discovered or should I say rediscovered during a street renovation project in Mandan, ND. Some of the more interesting artifacts from the street are on display at the Morton Mandan Public Library, which is where these pics were taken.
The bird head looks similar to the ones Larson finds, but a different species
. Now what were the bird heads with "handles" used for? Someones gotta know...
