Found this today...Is this from a pigeon,the big one on top is confirmed a Red Tail Hawk.If so is there a link to track these as well?Thank's.....

The bottom band may "open" and has a document inside with information to file a report.

Yeap, looks like racing pigeon.

When I have got in touch with the owners they don't seem very interested. Its kinda like a business they lose them all the time.

This should be a link to your band AU.. Think it was banded in 92 And it's from registered to a club in Glen Burnie ,MD The band listings don't go back past 2000 so you would have to contact them to find out who the owner was

I have 3 from geese that I have bagged in the past , one was 12 years old when I shot it. Not sure if you know it but all birds of prey have the bands folded over like your so they don't pry them open with their beak..Let us know what you find out on it

The ft./lb.'s of there beak is incredible....if it wasn't folded it would be gone in a couple day's.Still waiting for the first waterfowl band,still have a few more week's here.....
