I have a 77 piece set of Kjobenhavn pattern china. 70/77 pieces are in mint condition, the 7 others having small chips. I am trying to have it appraised and want to find a buyer, but have no idea what to realistically ask. This set dates back to WWII Denmark (1948 app) and can obviously not be replaced. Has anybody seen this pattern, or know about Danish china from this era?

I located 1 set on Ebay and they are asking $2,200 , but I felt this was ambitious.

Howdy Mort,

There's a 12 place setting here: Vintage and Antique New York for $2,495.

Thanks guys! I have a professional auction house looking into possibly buying the set from me. This is the first time I truly ever had anything of worth. Can someone help me with the sales (or auction) process?

1.) Is it better to sell, consign, or consign to auction?
2.) Which would reap the most profit?
3.) I live in Birmingham, AL. Is there a place near here like in Louisiana or Atlanta that would be better?
