I was told the first one is a geofact. Top one. Then i found this bottom photo. Common, really?? Same area. Please try to find one like it

You have found some awesome stuff, but take it easy. Your probably right about those, but no one can tell from pics and without context. If you don’t calm down you will be ignored, this comes from experience.

Sorry, they are not identical, they are both geofacts.

Where's your size reference Edgychris? Where's the pics at various angles to help determine what you have? You gonna get on board with all this or not? I wouldn't ask anything I wouldn't do myself.

I have no idea what rock type these pieces are, the photos are pretty low quality. As a result, I don't know if they are lithics used in our region, or simply broken rocks. What I do know, is that, given gazillions of rocks on the surface of the Earth, it really cannot be that uncommon to find rocks with similar to very same breakage appearances. In any event, I don't really see artifacts, again what is the rock type, and I really see nothing unusual about this in the least. IMHO, this is creating an observation suggesting there must be a man made reason for what we see, when, in fact, just the odds alone suggest this simply does not have to be the case at all. Again, I would like to know if these are lithic flakes, but I cannot determine that from these photos....

What did you find in association with them? Both have the general appearance of early stage reduction flakes.

Some identical geofacts in the making:

In order for any of us to assess things that are posted on here we need pictures from several angles, something for a size reference, and good clear pictures. That said, I see nothing on those two pieces that would lead me to believe they are artifacts.

Im upgrading smarttphone upon tax return shortly. Going for something with high resolution and a lot of megapixels. Sorry. When I pose a question in the futurr Ill provide all the material needed to reference.
