This lady doesn't know what she is talking about, Walls may have bought them out in the 80s but Big Smith has been around since 1916 which makes them 100 this year! I personally have a 1950s Big Smith Buckaroo denim jacket that is awesome and also that button definitely looks older but I couldn't say how old it actually is...

First of all, I made an error in the date, which I have corrected. After 3 years, the Wall History page is no longer available. Yes, Big Smith has been around since 1916 as anyone can see since it is on their logo.

Secondly, don't assume 'This lady doesn't know what she is talking about'
in your very first post on TNet. After almost 6,000 posts, I'm due at least one error or typo.
WELCOME to the forum, and as we say down South, 'Bless your heart!.'

Don't sweat it, Breezie. I was wondering why this rabble-rouser's tirade sounded like an advertisement for an overalls salesman... oh, that's why.

That Lady is an expert in many fields, and we all may slip once in a while, but we don't need a "ONE SHOT Wonder" to be the judge of correctness! Tony

I know what "Bless your heart" means. My wife is a southerner. Breezie is a real knowledgeable person on this forum and she DOES know what she's talking about! Good job Breezie!

I apologize if I sounded harsh breezie, i'm a clothes fanatic and based on what you said this person probably just threw this button away, when it could very well be 50-100 years old!
