Got out for a 2 hour hunt in the woods today between jobs. The woods has almost zero trash in the area I hit, so I dug everything. The signals came in strange, low vdi and bad sounding. The first find was about 3 seconds after turning the machine on a 1905 German half mark? It was only a inch or two deep and I drilled it with my tool! Then a trade token from H. Muher, bullet, and broke spoon. The penny's are 1930 and 1909. As I was leaving I heard a screaming 70 under- beside a little tree and 20 min and 4 inches later got the flat button. A foot away there was a group of what appear to be brass or copper rivets with a bit of leather still on them? In the parking lot I spotted a ear ring no marks but I think it's silver! I think the button has guilt on the back, how do I safely clean it? Thanks and good luck all!

Where do you live ? if I may ask & what type of Md do you use. Love that big silver , great other discoverys as well.

The coin is cool, that I love that ear-ring. Very nice finds.

Thanks for the nice words Davers I live in Cincinnati Ohio. I hunt mostly with a Garrett AT Pro, or minelab explorer XS. Thanks for asking, and good luck.

excellent find.... just to clarify, it's not a half mark but rather a 2 mark coin. looks like similar ones on ebay are being offered for around 40 bucks. not too shabby at all. congrats!

Good stuff!!!

Wow that is so cool! Sure will be glad when I hit up on something like that. Congrats! and thanks for sharing!

Nice silver and button echodog. I recently found a CW button with some guild left on it and used aluminum jelly to clean it. It's not a very common item carried at my local hardware store. They actually had to order it for me. Congrats and good luck.

Sweet finds, nice finds.
