First ring of the year and it’s a huge mans silver ring. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1525737112.255335.jpgI’ll post another pic after I clean it up

Congrats on the nice find.

That's a beast. Congrats on the chunk of silver!

Jason: I use silver jewellery cleaner from Walmart and toothpaste with an electric toothbrush to get right into those tight spots to shine it up real nice.

Commercial products to use, in cleaning silver and gold jewelry without stones, would be a slight heat with a propane torch then place in Sparex followed by a polish of red rough then white rouge.

I’ve tried the whole electrolysis thing and baking soda and salt but that takes too much time and extra unnecessary hardware and clean up. This is the fastest and easiest way to clean silver jewelry I’ve tried.

ash will also work in a pinch to polish silver....back in the day it was cigarette ash...the only good use for that stuff.

BTW, Great recovery!

I have wrapped the silver in tinfoil and dunked in white vinigar for less than a minute then rub with baking soda to polish the gunk and neutralise.

That is a nice hunk of Silver!!!
