I got a new permission a few weeks back and I hunted it for an hour with my 800 and found a few keepers, a 1911 Philippine 20 centavo, a war nickel and a handful of wheats. But my NOX was really chatty from the overhead power lines. So today I thought I would go back and hit it with my AT Max with a small coil figuring it would be less EMI susceptible. I have always wanted to find a Big Ben half and for some reason I just felt that this house had one. So I started in the front yard were the EMI would be the heaviest and the Max did not disappoint, I snagged another war nickel and a silver Rosie along with with some clad when I got a jumpy 88-51-67 signal so I popped the plug and spotted a coin sticking out of it, turned out to be a dateless buffalo nickel, so my initial thought was hmmm that was an interesting signal for a buff but swept the plug and BOOM a solid 90! I started breaking up the plug and there he lay! I was so stoked! I finished up with a few more wheaties and a cool lead soldier. Now I need to find a Walking Lady!
