On Sunday, Sue and I spent just over two hours hunting a site that dates back to the 1930's. In that time we dug 88 clad coins with a face value of $14.86. About thirty minutes into the hunt I dug a 14K gold wedding band weighing 2.57 grams with a current melt value of just over $87. About ten minutes later Sue dug a one ounce .999 silver round worth just over $24. This was definitely our best hunt of the year.

Congrats! Just over 2 hours digging 88 clad coin, a gold ring, a 1 oz silver, and some trash I’m sure between the 2 of you. I am exhausted just thinking about it. I can see why it was your best hunt of the year.
Thanks Rich......to be honest we dug only 2-3 pieces of trash which made the hunt that much more fun.
