Big plastic clothespin

what is this exactly? found in a creek, not great shape, but curious....is that the doughboy? or a kewpie figure? it's full of sand, and the plasitc has turned kinda blue, about 9-10 inches long.....the ears are well shaped and cast, even for plastic,? what did I find?

Not plastic, turned out to be rubber! Thanks Breezie, i found it. when I looked closer, it has Dreamland Creations stamped in it, and I just found this- http://www.etsy.com/listing/22815358/anthropomorphic-vintage-rubber-toy
