Big ornate metal, a silver nickle ,old toosie truck,casing, metal ball

Interesting day. Found another silver in my yard today. I ventured to an old school and dug up a big heavy metal ornate piece of some sort? Also found an old Tootsie toy truck, a 38 special casing, a zippo style case with a skull on it and some heavy little ball?

The ornate piece is called a loop top , prolly from 50s -late 60s it goes on a 1-1/2x2" square fence post and holds either a 1-3/8" or 1-5-8" round top rail for fence!
