Hi all,
My fields are all plowed now and will be planted soon so I snuck away for a quick hunt last night. We had rain the day before so the field was pretty sticky. Found a wheatie, clad dime and penny and assorted junk. It was near quitting time when ahead of me I saw a big, silver disk laying just under a corn stalk. I clod-hopped over to the car to get my camera. I was so hoping for a Walking Liberty but could see the Liberty Bell plainly on it. Still, not complaining! Ben is a bit scratched but I won't take credit for that since I never used my shovel. :)

Also found what looked like an oyster shell :icon_scratch: and a wannabe arrowhead.

HH and thanks for looking,
Michiganne

Wow, now that has got to be fun, "picking" big Silver coins.

Congrats on the eyeball. Big silver comes rarely, at least for me. One only half in 5 years.

Awesome...I dug a Franklin half last year and it was quite a thrill.

Half Dollar on the Half Shell - How very clever of you Anne :boots:
